Sharing and Learning

Yesterday my cousin ask my to replair her Blackberry Curve 8310. Then i looked to her phone, the display is weird, all aplication is gone, only blackberry menu that appears in home screen. First i tried push blackberry menu button, but its show nothing, then i push call button and then blackberry button to see what application running now. I see BBM, SMS, Browser, Phone. So i choose Phone then suddenly show Application error 423 on the screen and the blackberry Restart automatically. I ask tho her about what happened that couse the blackberry like that, she said its started when she use camera phone.

I have try turn off, plug out the batt without succes result. So i ask uncle google for the answer. Then i get the answer, there are i must wipe the blackberry and then re-Install Blackberry OS. With good spirit i try that way. First i Wipe the balckberry using JL_Cmder. Then i Re-install the OS using DM and new OS.

Before start, install DM and new OS n try to connect the BB

Wipe Blackberry :
- Make sure DM is not run
- Connect BB to PC
- Run JL_cmder
- Choose menu 1 to see if BB has Connected, when BB not connected usually its appears port error
- If Device status OK then choose menu 4, after that input Y then type blackberry
- Wait 15m or untill the BB screen show error 507. Do not unplug your BB

Reinstall OS :
- Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\ and delete the file vendor.xml
- Run C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\ Loader.exe
- Follow the step until the dialog show process succes.
- Wait BB restarted automatically.

Now your BB have new OS and Freshhhhh
